About the Fayre

Welcome to the Corsley Fayre! We had such lovely feedback from the last three Fayres and are jolly pleased that we'll be putting on another one this year! It's a really fun afternoon for all the family, so do come along and join in!

This year, to cover some of our costs, entry to the Fayre will be £8 per car.

Entries for the Horticulture and Crafts competitions are FREE for everyone. We would like encourage everyone to enter the classes in the Horticulture and Crafts competition - it doesn't matter if you don't live in Corsley!

Corsley WI are continuing their fabulous tea tent and there’ll lots of activities for the kids – lots of races and the ever-popular inflatables! We'll also have a proper bar to slate your thirst, skittles to test your bowling skills and archery for all ages.

Volunteer to help out

If you fancy volunteering, please do get in contact – we’d love to have you on board. Here's a list of jobs you can sign up to – from helping out on the day, to helping set up (on Friday) or take down (on Sunday).

Setup/takedown – do you have some time (a couple of hours) to spare the day before the Fayre to help us set everything up, or to help take it all down on Sunday?

On-Site Stewards – could you help out for up to a couple of hours (or more if you'd like to!) on the day of the Fayre?

Car Parking Marshalls – on the day of the Fayre, we'll need some help directing traffic on the field and making sure everyone parks in the right area!

If you'd like to help us out, please email help@corsleyfayre.org.uk – we're looking forward to hearing from you!

Accessibility

The Fayre is accessible to everyone, but please do bear in mind that it is held on a field. There will be an area for disabled parking and a toilet for disabled visitors too.

You can bring your exhibits up to the Fayre from 8am to 9am on Saturday 30th August. The marquee will close at 9am so that judging for classes A, B, E and H can commence. Please note that ALL exhibits for ALL classes must be set up before 9am, so don't be late! Judging for the other classes will be the same as in previous years - by tokens awarded by members of the public who will pick their favourite in each class - it's great fun, so do join in! Certificates for classes A, B, E and H will be awarded as soon as the judges have completed each class - you'll be able to see who has won what when the Fayre opens. Certificates for the other classes will be awarded from 3 pm.

Please note that exhibits are not to be removed from the marquee until after 4 pm.

Photography: you can either mount your photograph or use one of our clear photo pockets (18 x 13cm/7 x 5") which will be available on the day.
